You have the right to request the deletion of any personal information we have collected. Users of our mobile applications can request data deletion (such as search history or contact info) by emailing us at contact@ainextgenltd.com. We respond within applicable legal time limits and may need to verify your request. Some records must be retained for legal, accounting, fraud prevention or dispute-resolution purposes; we explain applicable exceptions when responding. Deleting data does not cancel a store subscription. Cancel subscriptions separately through the store where you purchased.
Certain mobile applications developed by AI NEXTGEN LTD may require access to your device's microphone to provide specific features, such as voice-guided journaling or audio note-taking.
PDF Scanner (listed on Google Play as PDF Scanner: Document Scan, package com.pdf.scanner.document.scan) lets you capture and organize documents, photos, receipts, ID cards and passport pages. Camera access is used when you choose to scan documents or QR codes. Selected photos are used when you import images. You can manage permissions in your device settings; denying access can prevent the corresponding feature from working.
Document images, drawn signatures, document names and recognized text are processed and stored on your device. Native text recognition runs on your device. PDF Scanner does not upload document content to a document-processing server. The browser version may download OCR software and a language model; those requests expose ordinary connection information to the download provider.
When you export or share a document, the destination you choose receives it. Those apps and services handle the copy under their own policies. Device and cloud backups may also retain app data according to your operating-system settings. PDF Scanner does not provide an app-level document lock or additional document encryption; protect access to your device.
No PDF Scanner account is required. You can delete documents from your library. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage removes local app data, but does not delete exported copies or backups. Manage those copies separately. We cannot remotely delete documents stored only on your device. Export important documents before uninstalling.
In applications that use RevenueCat, including PDF Scanner, RevenueCat and the applicable app store process information needed to validate purchases, restore access and manage subscriptions. This can include an app user identifier (which can be generated without a login), purchase history, transaction identifiers or purchase tokens, subscription status and dates, product and price information, and technical information such as app, SDK and operating-system versions. Network services also receive connection information such as an IP address. Subscription checks can occur when the app opens, even if you do not complete a purchase.
We use this information to provide paid features, handle support and understand subscription performance. PDF Scanner does not send scanned documents or signatures to RevenueCat. Payment card details are handled by the store; PDF Scanner does not receive your full card number.

Local documents remain until you delete them or remove app storage, subject to separate backups. Support correspondence and subscription records are retained as needed to resolve requests, administer purchases and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Retention of store and service-provider records also depends on their obligations and policies.

Depending on your location, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, and complain to your data protection authority, including the UK Information Commissioner's Office. Please identify the app and purchase involved without sending sensitive scans or payment-card details.
